Jason Wheeler, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVS
Dr. Jason Wheeler was created and elevated in Foot. Myers on Florida’s gulf coast. He attended Clemson College on the wrestling scholarship and gained his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences in 1995. Coming back to his home condition, he attended the College of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, graduation in 1999. Following Veterinary School, Dr. Wheeler did his general rotating internship at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Colorado, CO. Alameda East was the development home for Animal Planet’s popular tv program “Emergency Vets”. Dr. Wheeler made an appearance in a number of instances of the 2000-2001 season.
Following his rotating internship, Dr. Wheeler came back towards the College of Florida for any combined Master’s degree and residency in small animal surgery. Throughout his residency he won several honours for excellence in clinical research in the College of Florida, the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and also the Veterinary Memory foam Society.
In 2004 he was granted the American Association of Veterinary Physicians Resident of the season, a nationwide award of all small animal citizens within the U . s . States.
After his Residency, Dr. Wheeler continued to be at Florida for any clinical instructorship and grew to become a Diplomate from the American College of Veterinary Surgery in 2005. Dr. Wheeler then spent five years like a small animal surgeon at Wheat Ridge Veterinary Specialists in Colorado, Colorado. During Colorado, Jason met Marion plus they were married in 2007. Marion is really a native from the Tidewater section of Virginia along with a graduate of William &lifier Mary. In '09 their first daughter was created as well as in 2013 they welcomed two more young girls towards the Wheeler family. Together with their corgi “Meatball”, they like doing most anything outdoors and together.
