    • Get in the door at a talent agency and don't leave until you have a job. It does not have to be a big agency either, my advise would be to pursue a middle size or smaller agency. It's step one in proving your self worth in Hollywood. There might be no pay initially, but I have worked with many people who started as an intern and are now very successful. The journey from bottom up seems to make people more appreciative and well liked.

    • I would first suggest steering clear of those 'online schools' such as penn foster and stratford career institute as employers don't generally view them as reputable, and a vet assistant will most likely have had to get some hands-on experience to hone their skills and to secure a position. How about the local county vo-tech school(s) either from your county or surrounding ones. Just fyi, a vet assistant generally 'just' needs a certificate where as a vet technician typically gets an associate (2 year) degree from a community college.
